Virtual Science Center: Website Design & Build

Virtual Science Center (VSC), a nonprofit, creates traveling museum exhibits that increase kids’ interest in STEM.

For this project, VSC had a basic foundation for their brand identity including logo, colors, and a few graphic elements. I was tasked with taking the existing brand identity and translating it to a website design.

Website Design & Build

A chunk of this project was dedicated to making sure the site looked good at mobile, tablet and desktop screen sizes. This required a good amount of custom coding.

VSC wanted a simple website with few pages.

They had a lot of written content they wished to include, so part of my challenge was to think of visual ways to display this content without using so much text.

I designed a VR Viewer, similar to Google Cardboard for a conference VSC attended.
